This is not the first time I have seen such "coherent profile corruption":
there was one master update that caused it for several QA members about a year
ago. I did not file a report, but I remember spamming some existing one.

So local issue after all. Removing LO dev and user profile and re-installing
resolves this.

Funny that this happened simultaniously on two separate machines and
reproducable with switching between master builds from given dates.

Oh well, thanks for all your feedback and input on this. Sorry for wasting your
time. Not sure what got corrupted where and why builds from the 10th and
earlier were working without a problem, while newer builds were not.

Consider solved.

Current summary:

this used to work. the problem started 11th, continues 12th. nightly build from
10th still works.

this issue might be related to recent work done on template manager / templates
in startcenter.

someone should contact akki. I have not seen him on IRC. maybe mail him.
