[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 107306] Need Of Italic Characters

Plenty of options, although the Caldea, Carlito, DejaVu, Gentium, Liberation
Sans, Linux Libertine (Graphite), OpenSans, PT Serif, Source Code Pro, and
Source Sans fonts bundled and installed with LibreOffice each provides an
Italic style font for use.

Check that they are installed to your system with a LibreOffice install, then
just select the font for direct formatting or in modifying a style.

If you need more you can try:

Ok
So, how can I install that? Could you explain me it and (if required) give me
the links of these types of software?
Thanks

No, just install the fonts to your system. Just be sure they are
OpenType(.otf), TrueType(.ttf) or Graphite fonts. Older PostScript Type1 and
bitmap fonts are no longer supported.

What do you mean? I'm not so much use at it, can you explain it simpler? Do you
mean I need to install certain Libreoffice extensions?

Any modern OTF/TTF font installed to system will be available. Bitmap and Type1
postscript are no longer supported, but I don't believe that is what you seek.

You can use any OpenSource or commercial font foundry you would like--just be
sure to select and install TTF, OTF, or Graphite flavors.
