I've cleared my entries in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > User Data to restore the old (faulty) behaviour. When I press Shift+F5 now after opening a document, the cursor jumps to its correct position in the document. It's still a strange kind of behaviour, as one wouldn't expect the two things to depend on each other. However, it works now, so you may as well set my request to Resolved.
