Maybe I'm having a misconfiguration on my laptop, though. I switched to Fedora from Ubuntu keeping my settings, and upgraded from F24 to F26. On Ubuntu 16.04 you should be able to start an experimental Wayland session from the login menu. Just make sure that you select the cells containing the data to make in the Chart, click “Insert Chart” either from Insert menu or from the tool bar, choose a Chart Type then you’ll get your desired graph.
