It works perfectly. It would be improved if the fields displayed using the data immediately hid the blank lines. I thought the 'Don't show blank lines' checkbox had no effect and spent an hour looking for a method of suppressing them. One is labels - many sets of fields on a single sheet of paper. The other is mailmerge - one set of fields on many documents. I was able to produce a sheet of labels, with a different address on each label. However, I could not omit blank fields. I had already seen it plus a lot of other web snippets, the best being from OpenOffice. It does not fix the problem that producing labels for the first time requires several hours just to understand those convolutions that you mention. I think you could create a TV show to see who could do it the fastest on the first attempt.
