As I guessed in my initial report, the bug was introduced with version 5.0.0. In versions before there is no WYSIWYG display of the style lists. I created file with new style, that has white color for font and gray color for highlighting. I think this does not match and should be avoided if possible. - In the Modify dialogue in some tabs (e.g. tab 'Font') the preview is displayed correctly. It works as expected if, font color being set to white, the background is set to black and highlight to none, but not if the background is set to none and the highlight color to black.
