For the record, I installed on Arch Linux from https://sdkman.io/ and was able
to add 19.0.1-oracle to LibreOffice just fine. There was no Azul available.

Arch Linux 64-bit
Version: 7.4.2.3 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 40(Build:3)
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.0; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)
Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); UI: en-US
7.4.2-1
Calc: threaded

https://sdkman.io/

Install from there. You'll have a hidden directory `.sdkman` that'll have your
locally installed jdks.

Run `sdk install java 19.0.1-oracle` to install an oracle version. You'll see
that in `.sdkman/candidates/java/19.0.1-oracle`.

Original report was for Linux. In comment 4 I asked for help on using sdkman,
but got no advice.

This has been an issue for several years and should not be closed.

I have several versions of java installed via sdkman. When I go to LibreOffice
preferences and try to register any of them I get a message "the folder you
specified does not contain a java runtime environment". I have an amazon sdk
and two oracle sdk's installed. Running MacOS 13.0.1.

All of my other tools (VS Code, IntelliJ, gradle, groovy, etc) that rely on
Java JDK's recognize the default JDK setup by sdkman. Only LibreOffice doesn't
recognize it. This is NOT an issue with sdkman. It is an issue with LibreOffice
being to opinionated and undocumented about what it's expecting.
