Insert a table in a Writer document with 1 column and 2 rows 2. Right click on table 3. Click "Table" within context menu 4. In Columns tab, update Column Width to a value smaller than default (e.g. changing 6.93" to 5.4") 5. It does not work with table properties > Columns: [x] Adapt table width, Remaining space=7cm (after setting alignment=left). However, with two columns the second procedure meets the expectation and sets table width automatically.
