Potentially sm framework refactoring needed for bug 101174 could improve sm font handling in general. If I'm not wrong these should be simplifications of parsePredefinedToken parseAnyToken Both defined at /core/i18npool/inc/cclass_unicode.hxx with an automatic locale handele. These token parsers are used for all the modules. My hypothesis: the locale "error" makes the token parser go backguards. Have no idea of arabic, so not gonna help.
