I'm not sure, if I anderstand ist correctly

Steps (perhaps):
1. Open witer
2. ^f => ^p (Print dialog opens) => Cancel
3. ^f

Actual result: NEW is preselected
Desired result: last used menu entry should be preselected (lke Print in the
example)

Does this describe your idea?
