Bug ID: 142469
Summary: SSH Keys for remote files
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.1.3.1 rc
Hardware: All
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: certainlyhu...@gmail.com
Description:
I did a search to make sure this hadn't been posted yet, and it has, but back
in October of 2018 (May 2021 as of this posting):
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119582#c1
I don't know coding programs, but I know that Cyberduck FTP is open source and
has the option to add SSH keys (and save them), so while I don't know what the
code is to be added, I know it could be found there - likely modifications
needed.
I'm using the Mac version, haven't checked on Windows or Debian to see if it
was ever added there, but I'd assume if it had, then it would've been added to
all versions.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open "Remote Files".
2. "Manage services" -> "Add service".
3. Choose SSH or FTP (assuming wanting to use SFTP).
4. Observe that the option to add SSH Keys doesn't exist.
Actual Results:
Leaves the person who's expecting to see the option feeling a little bummed
out.
Expected Results:
Feeling like teh sunshines.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
Using SSH without SSH keys is wrong.
