            Bug ID: 146974
Summary: Scrolling with mouse pastes data in randm cells
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.1.8.1 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: davidbry...@gvtc.com

Just FYI, I compiled LibreOffice from Gentoo sources. And my version says
7.1.7.1, which is ot an option above.

Occasionally, and apparently randomly, when I navigate a spreadsheet by using
the scroll wheel on my mouse, the current clipboard contents get pasted
somewhere in the current sheet. This isn't really a problem if I notice it has
happened -- I can just click undo. But when I don't notice it, it creates a
major hassle (I have to find and recreate the corrupted data.

This has happened more and more frequently of late. I turned off the warning
about overwriting existing data a long time ago. I guess I'll turn that warning
back on, and see if that works better for me. But I would really be happier if
data were not pasted into a cell unless I have either selected the edit > paste
menu item, or have keyed in Ctrl+v.
