My last experience of the issue was on 4th August with my then installed
7.2.7.2. I have updated to 7.5.6.2 this weekend 25th September and the button
presentation is now stable.

I have filed another report BUG157413 also related to the stability of URL
Buttons. This manifested with the 7.5.7.2 installation identified above

Version: 7.4.7.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 723314e595e8007d3cf785c16538505a1c878ca5
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: sv-SE (en_GB); UI: en-GB
Calc: threaded
I'm fairly actively monitoring the situation and on 29th June I identified that
more buttons were corrupt so I reset all those affected.
By the 17th July another 9 buttons had corrupted with "Fit to Cell" errors in
that some just doubled in size and some moved away from the cell boundaries
despite being anchored.
Two days ago -2nd Aug- four of the buttons from Mid-July failed to connect to
the target image claiming the address was wrong or the file didn't exist.
Editing failed to remedy the situation so I deleted and recreated those links.
Today, one button from 2 weeks ago just disappeared so I've recreated it.
Whilst the sheet it all goes wrong on is fairly simple with just 2 auto
filtered interactive named arrays there are six more sheets some of which
derive some of their data from lookups to this sheet whilst others cross
reference 15911 rows of 6 columns against both this source sheet and their own
data. I compare every entry for palindromes and prior use so one sheet (an
autofiltered array 15911*11) takes every row and then VLOOKUP()s every other
row on that sheet 759479763 potential assessments (but many are null) without
the other less complex manipulation.
Unfortunately, it's impossible to keep trck of everything I do which may cause
a hiccup and I obviously only notice the structure changing if I have the need
to review something that I didn't change today.
Is there any point in providing you with the full sheet. Nothing is personal.
The sheet that constantly fails is updated with just one five letter word daily
and an image of the web page is then cropped, filed and hyperlinked to that
sheet.
If it is decided to take a full copy then There are 578 filed images for 6Mb.
If these are required then obviously somebody would need to reassign their
local path to allow the OS to link that path to the hyperlink specs
Should I file another report for the "dropped" hyperlinks or is that just too
vague a symptom at present?

Couldn't reproduce either with 7.4.7.2.
I followed similar steps to Buovjaga, and also played with hiding column
groups, autofilter, resizing columns... to no avail.
Colin, have you updated to a more recent version? Are you still seeing that
shrinking? Any new steps?

There was also an original CALC file that was replaced by this current version
- not sure if there's any value in investigating that - which would be almost a
year younger with fewer actions

I only noticed the corruption when I went back to the top to make a few changes
to some of the cells - including the hidden ones that produce frequency stats.

Even then, it wasn't initially obvious how dramatically the buttons were being
changed.

If you view the original .pdf attachment you can see the status of the buttons
at that time and compare them with how much more severe the issue becomes with
time.

All I do is complete the Wordle, take a screen dump of the page, crop, save &
link it.

The working sheet is far more complex, with charts, an accumulating solution
register so I can ensure I don't duplicate words and even filters on character
positions so I can sometimes identify just how many English words are ?O?SE
when my six choices all FAIL.

Should I provide the full 7 sheet file in case its a combination effect?

Do you have reliable steps on how we can reproduce with this file?

I scrolled around a bit and noticed some hyperlink buttons had a bigger height.
Around F164 I corrected the size of multiple buttons (after View - Toolbars -
Form Controls, Design Mode). I then copied one button to F354 and tweaked the
options: Anchored to a Cell with resize and Fit to Cell size. I saved and
reloaded and looked at the buttons around F164. No change had occurred.

Another fault report has required me to attach the full production sheet and it
occurred to me that the sample sheet provided with 149391 was a simple
demonstration of the single sheet being affected.

I have just noticed that the prior fault is now exacerbated with some of the
early buttons having resized themselves into two cells. I also now suspect that
the fault may be related to using the autofilter on Column M of the full
version.

I will now attached the full "production" version.

Sorry, came through a weblink as the LO Help link is not functioning.
Here's the technical info;

Version: 7.2.7.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 8d71d29d553c0f7dcbfa38fbfda25ee34cce99a2
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19043; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: sv-SE (en_GB); UI: en-GB

Let me know if I really need to explain the steps for creating a hyperlink
button to a local image ;)
