This bug has been in NEEDINFO status with no change for at least
6 months. Please provide the requested information as soon as
possible and mark the bug as UNCONFIRMED. Due to regular bug

This would happen when pasting on a cell located in the same column, below the
cell where the original text was copied from.

Pasting on a cell that is located on a different column would result in the
text that was originally copied (only).

In other words, the behavior is not a result from pasting alone, but from
pasting on a cell in the same column while "autoinput" is activated.

To test this, start your test again (with an empty worksheet); go to menu Tools
> AutoInput and disable it. Then use your step 1 to step 3 in comment 0.

Another test would be to repeat your steps but pasting on a different column.

Please be aware that the behavior related to "autoInput" has changed since LO
7.1 to the current 7.4 - 7.6.alpha, so the exact behavior might be slightly
different, depending on the version.

Please confirm my suspicion, so we can check whether there is really a problem
(or not).

Please test with newer version, LO 7.1 is quite old. You can download actual
