I cannot reproduce it with LO Version 3.6.2.2 (Build ID: da8c1e6) under Debian Testing x86. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 42681] EDITING: Find window doesn't show up
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42681 --- Comment #3 from Dave Dixon ddi...@swcp.com 2011-11-08 07:08:29 PST --- The vanilla installation didn't go very well. First, the instructions mention in several places to see the section Deinstallation of a Previous Version of LibreOffice but there is no such section. I used the Ubuntu software manager to remove all LibreOffice stuff - it was tedious, but it seemed to work. Then I rand the DEB installation, which seemed to go okay, then the desktop-integration, which said: dpkg: error processing libreoffice3.4-debian-menus_3.4-302_all.deb (--install): conflicting packages - not installing libreoffice-debian-menus Errors were encountered while processing: libreoffice3.4-debian-menus_3.4-302_all.deb There are icons for LibreOffice and Draw in my Applications/Office menu, but not Calc, Writer, etc. When I run LibreOffice, all the applications except Drawing are grayed out. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Could you try in a Gnome session? You could also ask for help in an Ubuntu forum. Or install vanilla version from http://www.libreoffice.org/download/ First of all, close LibreOffice, rename ~/.libreoffice, delete ~/.openoffice.org if any and restart LibreOffice JBF -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
