I tried some variations of the steps given in Description, but every time the behaviour is completely as expected: the text is pasted without any problems. Start LibO > Start Center appears 2. Open new WRITER document with click on "New Text Document" 3. Type a line with arbitrary text (Lorem Ipsum) 4. Select / Highlicht all text line 5. for Copy 6. Menu 'File -> New -> WRITER document' 7. Click into new Writer document, type 50 times , then "xxx" 8. 2 times to reach top of page 9. Long click on "Paste" toolbar icon 10. select "As RTF' Expected: arbitrary text (Lorem Ipsum) inserted into first line Actual: inserted behind "xxx" I agree with Cor's suspect that this is related to or the same as "Bug 43869 - Paste special from Calc to Writer, causes last paragraph to be removed".
