Open it in oletoy (https://gitorious.org/re-lab), go to the 'VisioDocument'-'Header'. Version would be shown on the top right panel. 2. Open VSD file in any hexviewer. Find Visio (TM) Drawing text [56 69 73 69 6F 20 28 54 4D 29 20 44 72 61 77 69 6E 67], skip 0D 0A and next 6 bytes.
