NoRepro:4.2.0.2:OSX

WORKSFORME. After pasting text from impress test file to writer test file all
formatting and headers remain intact.

Is this bug still valid / reproducible with the latest pre-release 4.2.0.2:
http://www.libreoffice.org/download/pre-releases/

Please also try resetting your user profile and let us know if that helps:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile

Should this be still reproducible for you with the latest LO release please set
this bug back to NEW.

(In reply to comment #3)
The bug is 100% reproducible on my Linux box but I also tried on Windows XP
 SP3 32 bits, Windows 7 64 bits and Mac OS X Leopard 64 bits and I don't see
the bug on these three systems (I tested these systems on Virtualbox
 machines, with LibreOffice 3.5.4.2).

Confirmed with:
LO 4.0.0.0.beta2
Build ID: own W7 debug build
Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit

When text is pasted from Impress to Writer - the formatting of current text is
changed. In my case from Arial to Mangal font. Styles do not change back after
undo.

Pasting as unformatted text works as expected.

Marking as NEW. Actions damaging documents are serious issue, especially if you
can't undo.

Same problem here : the page formatting is completely broken after pasting text
from Impress to Writer, and it is not possible to cancel the action using
Ctrl-Z or Undo.

Here is a test case, with two screenshots.
To reproduce the bug :
- open text.odt and pres.odp
- select the text If you copy some text from slide 2 of pres.odp and copy it
to the clipboard
- paste the text at the end of text.odt and see the damage

My system : Debian Linux Squeeze 64 bits with LibreOffice 3.5.4.2

The bug is 100% reproducible on my Linux box but I also tried on Windows XP SP3
32 bits, Windows 7 64 bits and Mac OS X Leopard 64 bits and I don't see the bug
on these three systems (I tested these systems on Virtualbox machines, with
LibreOffice 3.5.4.2).

More on this bug : the same problem occurs when copy / pasting from Writer to
Writer. It happens that all the styles and formatting of the source document is
copied to the destination document and this is not undoable.
I see this bug on Linux 64 bits.

Could you attach any example documents to allow others to check on different
system/build?
