https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58318 --- Comment #7 from QA Administrators--- ** Please read this message in its entirety before responding ** To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 58318] FORMATTING: Displaying of Tab Positions is Wrong within Text Documents with 2 ( or more) Columns in MS Word Format
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58318 --- Comment #6 from Harald Koester--- Tested again with versions 5.0.1 and 5.2.2 with original test procedure: ... Step (3): Against my original statement the display of the tab in the right half is correct, because the numbering of the ruler in the right half also refers to the left column. What's irritating is the 'white' ruler background of the right column. It seems that this part of the ruler refers to the right column. I think that only the ruler background of the column where the cursor is positioned should be white. The background(s) of the other column(s) should be greyed like the backgrounds beyond the page margins. Perhaps also a lighter grey may be suitable. ... Step (5): With version 5.0.1 a blue line above the right column is displayed, with 5.2.2 the line is not displayed. It's only displayed if Non-printing Characters are displayed. To my opinion the version 5.2.2 is correct now. Not correct is, that the term "Manual Column Break" is not displayed above the blue line. You have to scroll the page down and up again, then the term is displayed. ... Step (10): In version 5.0.1 two tabs are displayed, in 5.2.2 only one is displayed. I think the version 5.2.2 is correct now. Step (11): Contrary to version 5.0.1 with version 5.2.2 the cursor now jumps to the correct tab position. Conclusion: Main problem is solved in version 5.2.2. Two minor problems still exist (step 3 and 5). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
