Priority: medium Bug ID: 59255 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: : Cumulative word count on header/footer Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: yanna...@gmail.com Hardware: Other Whiteboard: BSA Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 3.6.4.3 release Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice I couldn't find it, so I decided to post it here. I know that Bugzilla is an issue tracker rather than a bug tracker exclusively, despite the misleading name. The fact you had to create a custom front end reveals the horror of Bugzilla, this is why new projects should always use The Bug Genie instead of such ancient, unusable and user-hostile solutions! I'm quite certain most programmers, too, dislike Bugzilla. Anyway, I would be most pleased were functionality that would allow a cumulative word count to placed on the bottom of, perchance, the last page. By this I mean a word count of all the words on the page being inserted and updated automatically as one types. It would also be nice if a per-page word count that would increase from page-to-page (hence the title of this bug report) would be added, though this does not bother me too much, as I have only ever had a single use case for that. Of course, I'd assume this would be generic and could be anywhere on the page, such being the case often programming, but the intended use case would be in the footer. Operating System: All Version: 3.6.4.3 release -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
