In Windows, I've set up two typing languages: English and Indonesian (both use the US keyboard). Before upgrading to LOv4, and still in Windows 7, when I toggled between these two languages, the text langauge specified in the LOv3.6 status bar would switch to match this. But now in Windows 8, LOv4003 is NOT responding to this toggling input from the OS. What should happen is when I change the input/keyboarding language in Windows, LO would see this and immediately change the typing language for new input from the keyboard. (Note: Microsoft Office 2007 does automatically follow my toggling the Windows keyboarding language, so it is NOT a Windows 8 bug.) Notice that the "Text Language" box is BLANK, and there is NO OPPORTUNITY to tell the spell checker to check with the Indonesian language. It has not been upgraded since 2009. The id.oxt extension I have just attached contains the Indonesian Spelling Dictionary for later versions of LibreOffice, and it worked just fine until I upgraded to LibreOffice v4.0.0.3. I have verified that LO does properly spell check while typing English, but it won't do Indonesian, neither while typing nor through the Tools Spell Checking option.
