[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 68772] Other: LibreOffice (3.5.2.2) not listed in Control Panel
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68772 James spa...@gmx.net changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |WORKSFORME --- Comment #6 from James spa...@gmx.net --- As it is old unsupported version of LibreOffice I think that it is not so crucial to solve it so we can close that bug. I'll just install 4.1 Agreed. Tyle, if this re-appears with any of the newer versions, please re-open this bug and then I think it would be worht looking into this more closely. Setting to WORKSFORME since we are unsure if this is valid for newer versions. If for anybody this happens with a newer release please re-open. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 68772] Other: LibreOffice (3.5.2.2) not listed in Control Panel
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68772 --- Comment #3 from Tyle t...@o2.pl --- Hi ign_christian, Thanks for tip but I didn't work in my case. I've installed 3.5.7.2 to overwrite 3.5.2.2. Newer version appeared in control panel and it even looked as it replaced old one. But after uninstalling 3.5.7.2 it disappeared from control panel as it supposed to but old 3.5.2.2 is still on the system working well - I can run it from shortcut from Desktop but it is not listed in control panel. So that method of overwriteing didn't work in my case and problem is still unsolved. So I tried to use revo but it also can't handle that issue. As it is old unsupported version of LibreOffice I think that it is not so crucial to solve it so we can close that bug. I'll just install 4.1 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68772 --- Comment #5 from Tyle t...@o2.pl --- @bfoman Yes I have. Unfortunately it didn't help. New version 3.5.2.2 was listed in Control Panel so I could try to uninstall it but after uninstalling it the old 3.5.2.2 was still available to run from desktop shortcut. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68772 --- Comment #2 from ign_christian ign_christ...@yahoo.com --- Hi Tyle, if you install new 4.x version then it won't replace the old 3.x version. You could try install 3.5.7.2 to overwrite 3.5.2.2 then uninstall. If that doesn't work either, perhaps you should do that with 3rd party uninstaller like Revo Uninstaller, etc. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
