https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79138 --- Comment #15 from Luuk --- Because i bought meself a new computer since the days i reported this bug, and because this computer is more powerrfull then the previous one, and because this 'bug' is about operations which takes long time (longer than 1 minute, to overlap time set in 'Save autorecovery information every .. minutes') and because this was reported for version 4.0, and currently we have 6.2, I do net see any advantage in trying to reproduce this in version 3.3. Because all of the above, I am suggesting to close this bug (WONTFIX?), which leaves you all to solve bugs which will need more attention, unless 'lots-off-people' are facing issues because of this bug... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79138 --- Comment #14 from QA Administrators --- Dear Luuk, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79138 --- Comment #9 from Luuk--- First of all, since reporting this bug, some things changed 1) I upgraded Windows 7 to Windows 10 2) I decided to run the 64-bits version of LibreOffice 3) Currently running 5.1.0.3 (x64) The problem still exists (see screenshot) I also changed the number of columns I am copying/pasting to 9, so i change the range in step 3 from A3:C3 to A3:I3 (after putting some values in those columns) and changed the range in step 5 from A4:C1048575 to A4:I1048575 Another thing that might be necessary to get this behavior is changing this: Tools/options/Load/Save/General 'Save Autorecovery every: 1 minutes' -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

On other attempts, i was not able to save the document after step 5 (Resulting in I/O errors, which i have not copied...) I know that (especially step 3) seems a pretty useless action, But these steps should not be the cause of a problem when working with a calc-sheet. Finally, after Joel's comment, i tested this with 4.2.4.2, and same thing go wrong in this version.
