Hello,
MID function is for text string. You can not use this function for numeric. You
can convert numeric to text, for example 

=MID(TEXT(B3;0,000);3;1)

thanks raal, you're true!! I missed about it: the past times I used that
functions on numbers they were already converted in strings.
