At least Firefox renders it the same way it renders the html produced by MS-Word 2003. So for me, the problem has been fixed in a recent release. So closing as WorksForMe because the fix can't be related to a known commit. Feel free to reopen if you disagree. Best regards. Also, Dreamweaver CS6 is available: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cs6-product-downloads.html Not sure if this is a trial version or not. I think it is. If so, you can use it without a serial number for 30 days. I learned I can pass multiple spaces to Dreamweaver by using "required spaces". When I copy multiple required spaces from Dreamweaver to LibreOffice they are all lost but one.
