[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 94086] LO 5 seems to be getting worse
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94086 tommy27 changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED CC||ba...@quipo.it Version|unspecified |5.0.1.2 release Resolution|--- |INVALID --- Comment #4 from tommy27 --- this bug report is too generic and covers too many issues all together. I suggest to file separate bug reports for each problem you encounter. the policy of this bug tracker is "one report per bug" so I close this as INVALID -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 94086] LO 5 seems to be getting worse

Can you > please try that? > https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile > > thanks - Cor Thanks for the response, Cor. I have reset the profile (retained nothing from the old profile). It does seem to have changed anything. What is concerning is that every problem I have been experiencing was not evident in LO 4.4. I do not experience any of the bugs in relation to the new features of LO 5. How come? This implies regression. I installed OpenOffice and I have now created a VirtualBox (cannot get KVM to work) with XFCE and (LMC) Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon (my host OS) and the problems are not repeated in the LO 4.4 there. For some reason, the mouse works fine in XFCE but not in LMC guests (with LMC guests it stops working in both host and guest and I have to resort to the Trackpoint - bot the Trackpoint and mousepad are super sensitive to hovering fingers and I hate them being active. Sigh!) What is odd - the save dialog in 5.0 is the same as OO and not not as in LO 4.4 - why? This is very puzzling - it almost appears as if something else and not LO 4.4 was used as the baseline for the development of LO 5. It is so dramatic that I simply cannot believe that the problem lies in the development but must be on my configuration. But how? I removed LO completely, using Synaptic, then changed the PPA for LO5 and did an install. This is all very puzzling. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
