            Bug ID: 95417
Summary: Reassign paragraph/list item reordering keyboard
                    shortcuts to Ctrl+Up/Down
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.0.2.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: nekoh...@gmail.com

There is a feature where you can reorder paragraphs and list items using the
keyboard. It's very nice to be able to quickly change the ordering like that,
especially for journalists (where a golden rule is that every paragraph should
be an atomic item that can be moved mostly anywhere in the text) and for
brainstorming.

The problem is that the keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Up and Ctrl+Down) for that
feature changed in one of the releases over the past few years (I have no idea
which).

- Currently, ctrl+up/down does nothing special, it just goes up or down one
line (as if you didn't have ctrl pressed at all).

- The shortcut now seems to be ctrl+alt+up/down (at least for list items, not
sure if it's the same for paragraphs but I presume so). The problem is that
this conflicts with window managers' global shortcuts for virtual workspaces in
Linux. Most notably, hitting those shortcuts in GNOME Shell will make it switch
to the next/previous workspace, overriding LibreOffice.

I can't think of something wrong with the previous shortcuts (ctrl+up/down) so
I would suggest putting those back in place?
