Dear Bug Submitter,

This bug has been in NEEDINFO status with no change for at least
6 months. Please provide the requested information as soon as
possible and mark the bug as UNCONFIRMED. Due to regular bug
tracker maintenance, if the bug is still in NEEDINFO status with
no change in 30 days the QA team will close the bug as INVALID
due to lack of needed information.

What's if you select the range with data to copy instead the whole sheet?
[Ctrl+Home] [Shift]+[Ctrl+End]

Sometimes the whole sheet have direct formats although there is no data, and
seems LibreOffice doesn't like it too much.

Maybe you could try to sanitize the contents in Excel, so you could attach the
file here.

It seems you have to use ? instead of . for the Find regex:
https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Find-and-replace-text-by-using-regular-expressions-Advanced-eeaa03b0-e9f3-4921-b1e8-85b0ad1c427f#bm8

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the sanitized document.
