[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 97054] Table: The results are inconsistent when you insert a copied table inside a cell of an existing table using paste.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97054 --- Comment #1 from Sharon --- data in the cell will be replaced with the copied table. So far the process seems to work pretty much as expected. (It is a little annoying when the behavior changes when the cell is empty or not. Documenting the differences will help with any confusion.) However, when you select the cell in the opposite direction that you read English is where things get interesting: If the cell above or to the left of the target cell is highlighted and: If non-targeted cell is empty, copied table's cells will overwrite the cells in the target table starting from the selected cell. If non-targeted cell is NOT empty, the copied table will be inserted into the cell above or to the left (depending on which extra cell was highlighted) and then copied table's cells will overwrite the cells in the target table starting from the selected cell. Let me know if you need anymore information or screen captures, Sharon -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
