Oops, wrong example :) But still, it isn't a tool to be run _under_ Windows (from my understanding of Litmus, I confess I haven't tried it) No, Litmus is an online tool to manage manual test cases. It was developed by the Mozilla team, and we (Rimas and Yifan) have adapted it to our needs. It manages all kind of tests and different languages. So all OS/versions/languages can be represented in the tests. It's really simple to use for the tester, he just has to reproduce what he is reading on the Litmus site into LibreOffice and then mark the test as passed, skip or failed, nothing more :) Kind regards Sophie -- Founding member of The Document Foundation ___ List Name: Libreoffice-qa mailing list Mail address: Libreoffice-qa@lists.freedesktop.org Change settings: http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-qa Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice-qa/

Well looks ugly is highly subjective. It is no surprise that very small text, as in the thumbnail is not readable anymore. Whether you think the thumbnail (i.e. the small version of the slide that is displayed in the slide list on the left of the default view) looks ugly is up for you to decide :-) I think the thumbnail does its job, and until I see a version it should look like *this* instead - I don't really consider it a bug (at least for LO, might be that OOo renders it worse/differently than LO - but then again I won't install OOo just for this issue. ciao Christian ___ List Name: Libreoffice-qa mailing list Mail address: Libreoffice-qa@lists.freedesktop.org Change settings: http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-qa Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice-qa/
Re: [Libreoffice-qa] [libreoffice-projects] [ANN] LibreOffice 3.5.1 RC1 available
Hi, 2012/2/26 Thorsten Behrens t...@documentfoundation.org: for the upcoming new version 3.5.1, the RC1 builds now start to be available on pre-releases. This build is slated to be one of two release candidate builds on the way towards 3.5.1, please refer to our release plan timings here: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan#3.5_release Builds are now being uploaded to a public (but non-mirrored - so don't spread news too widely!) place, as soon as they're available. Grab them here: http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/pre-releases/ If you've a bit of time, please give them a try report *critical* bugs not yet in bugzilla here, so we can incorporate them into the release notes. Please note that it takes approximately 24 hours to populate the mirrors, so that's about the time we have to collect feedback. The list of fixed bugs relative to 3.5.0 is here: http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/pre-releases/src/bugfixes-libreoffice-3-5-1-release-3.5.1.1.log So playing with the areas touched there also greatly appreciated - and validation that those bugs are really fixed. I don't know why you assume it's a Windows-only tool then. Don't you have a web browser in your other OS? :) One thing that could be done to make the Litmus site more user attractive would be to add an OpenID login option (like in the ask.libreoffice.org site) Personally I haven't tested Litmus because I really don't feel like registering to yet another site (I have already registered to three mailing lists, the Nabble site and the wiki) OpenID integration is a great idea indeed. I too hate to create separate logins for each website or service, and then end up with a bunch of different passwords I can't remember and/or a bunch of shared passwords that are insecure... I've added this suggestion to the TODO list (https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Litmus_TODO), but I can't promise I will be looking into it anytime soon. Litmus' source is available though, so I'd welcome contributions. ;) Regards, Rimas ___ List Name: Libreoffice-qa mailing list Mail address: Libreoffice-qa@lists.freedesktop.org Change settings: http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-qa Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice-qa/
