Re: [Libreoffice-qa] issues with saving as pptx and with smart art ??
Cor Nouws píše v Po 22. 10. 2012 v 23:36 +0200: Hi, Would like to ask some help with finding issues... I read an article here (in Dutch) about 3.6.1 It reads: saving as docx results in SmartArt being removed The release notes mention that only import is implemented. Miklos might know more. saving as PPTX: cannot be opened any more in Powerpoint AFAIK, Radek fixed some related issue for 3.6.3. It would be great to get the test document to be sure that it fixes the problem as well. Sophie Gautier píše v Po 29. 10. 2012 v 16:55 +0100: I've discussed the process with our FR team and they are ok to handle it. I've not been able to see if OTRS would be of some help, but we are used to work together on bugs and deal with them asap. The moderation is still an issue. Sounds promising. What we need also is a place to get the test/example documents (they are not allowed as mailing list attachment and Nabble is not always the best to deal with). I have seen that people put large test documents into wiki and mentioned links in bugzilla or E-mails. Another solution would be a write-only annonymous ftp. It would be easier for clean up. I am not sure how complicated would be a secure and usable setup. Hi Cor, all, On Wed, Oct 31, 2012 at 03:16:51PM +0100, Petr Mladek pmla...@suse.cz wrote: I read an article here (in Dutch) about 3.6.1 It reads: saving as docx results in SmartArt being removed The release notes mention that only import is implemented. Miklos might know more. SmartArt is imported as normal DrawingLayer shapes, so export should more or less work. For docx, shapes are exported in VML (i.e. not DrawingML and not SmartArt), but that should not cause a visual difference. It would be great to get the test document to be sure that it fixes the problem as well. Indeed, if there is a freedesktop bugreport about smartart docx export with a test document, I can have a look at it. Some way to only send files (like anonymous FTP upload without public download), or a way to share documents? In the latter case, I'd rather use some web service, so we are not abused as file sharing platform... Then - I'd pick an easy-hack to get going on: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/Easy_Hacks_by_required_Skill While the code builds (which takes several hours) it's very useful to do bug triage: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugTriage Checking confirming bugs moving them to the 'NEW' state, or marking them as duplicates.
