Re: [Libreoffice-qa] About other Office softs on QA_Team page

2013-05-28 Thread Florian Reisinger
Hi,

This is difficult to have this up to date. Maybe generic terms work:
AOO.org
LibreOffice
Gnumeric
Office 2003-13
(The others change the version number too quickly)

Florian Reisinger

[Libreoffice-qa] About other Office softs on QA_Team page

2013-05-28 Thread julien2412
Hello,

I just wonder if it could worth it to add a new column in QA_Team page
(https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/QA_Team) named "Office softs" and
which would contain other softs than LO, eg:
- OOo 3.2
- AOOo 4.0
- MsOffice 2007
- Gnumeric
- etc.
For example, I didn't know who to ping for fdo#65059, hopefully Joren gave
me a good help.

Julien

[Libreoffice-qa] Suggested Prioritization For Triaging

2013-05-28 Thread Joel Madero
Hi All,

I've added a table to our triage page:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugTriage#Step_1._Find_Bugs_to_Triage

It has a suggested order for triaging, if anyone wants to add, subtract,
modify, please feel free to do so :)

Best,
Joel

[Libreoffice-qa] Triage Contest Marathon

2013-05-28 Thread Joel Madero
Slightly behind schedule but not by much.

Unless I hear something from someone shortly, rules will be final shortly:

https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Projects/Bug_Triage_Contest

Prizes are finalized already:

Top 5 triagers will receive a t-shirt - unfortunately lack of merchant
prevents us from doing much else but I am working on this for future.

We need people to sign up over there, we'll need a couple more
moderators/judges, if you're relatively comfortable with FDO and have a bit
of spare time, please sign up for these positions.

So announcement to come shortly - I hope to announce this week or early
next week and then get marketing involved to do a June push.

Best,
Joel

[Libreoffice-qa] NEEDINFO - status check

2013-05-28 Thread Joel Madero
Hi All,

So I ran another 50 today and wanted to give a status update, IMO this is
going quite smoothly and is successful. Here are the #'s

236 total bugs commented on

197 of those currently in NEEDINFO (this includes 50 from just 20 minutes
or so ago)

12 now marked as NEW (ie. confirmed bugs that had just been rotting in
NEEDINFO status are now confirmed and ready to go)

18 RESOLVED
-2 Dupes
-3 INVALID
-1 NOTABUG
- 1 WONTFIX
-11 WFM

I'll keep following the bugs but these are promising numbers for such a
short period of time. So, apologies for the FDO spam but it's been worth it
IMO.

Best,
Joel

I've already done the Google Drive implementation on the libCMIS side.
However we need to add some final touches and release libCMIS 0.4.0
before integrate it into LO.

I'll try to do it when libCMIS 0.4.0 is released and put into LO in a
couple of weeks

Yes the only requirement is a Google account :) with some documents and
folders in Google Drive of course.

The implementation is done but we'll need to release libCMIS 0.4.0 and
connect it to LO, so in a couple of weeks we will be able to test this
feature.

Thanks,
Cuong.

When do you think that you'll be ready to provide builds to test?
Please feel free to just ping the QA list if you need help testing
something in particular during the summer :-)

It would be helpful for you to ping the Documentation Team and chat
about the best way to provide docs on how these new features work (or
at least are *supposed* to work :-). That way when we test things in
QA, we can refer to the documentation and make sure that the expected
behavior and actual behavior are in agreement!

First of all Welcome! I'm glad you choose LibreOffice.

I will implement the connection to Google Drive and properties/version
dialog extension of CMIS.

It would be great if someone can volunteer and spend sometimes to help
testing my future feature .
Pretty important for me and others: what are the requirements to test
this (future) feature?
I assume a Google account (with Google Drive) is one of (and only?) the
major requirements here?

I'm surely willing to test, and I'm sure I'm not the only one here. I
have Linux (Mint) and Mac OSX to test/build on. If you finished some
work that require testing, I think it'll be good to explain us what to
test, and how to test.

Good luck with this nice project!

Kind regards,
Joren
