Re: [Libreoffice-qa] [ANN] LibreOffice 4.1.1 RC2 test builds available
Hi Christian Christian Lohmaier-3 wrote for the upcoming new version 4.1.1, the RC2 most of the builds are now available on pre-releases (Windows build still uploading) There are builds available for all other OSes since the 21st of August, but none for Windows. Yes: The PPA builder do not have enough file system space to build more. [Libreoffice-qa] Inherited from OOo Version
Hi All, Just did the following: Changed 3.3.0 Beta2 to Inherited from OOo as this is almost certainly the case (Brilliant idea from Florian) - then I added a new version 3.3.0 Beta2 which is empty. This means that the bugs that were reported way early in our transition are now listed as inherited from OOo, comes to 483 bugs. Use this liberally if you are relatively sure that the bug predates LibreOffice. Ideally bibisect will go all the way back at some point so that if it's pre bibisect that indicates inherited from OOo -- this requires a substantial amount of time from others so for now pre-bibisect simply means 3.5beta0. This is good because of a couple reasons: 1. Accuracy of our version field 2. Letting users know don't blame us -- ;) this is half in jest, but in all honesty, bugs that came before the fork should not be deemed LibreOffice bugs, they should be deemed OOo bugs which hopefully at some point we nail down. 3. Helps us gauge importance @Robinson - was one of my action items so it can be removed :) Best, Joel ___ List Name: Libreoffice-qa mailing list Mail address: Libreoffice-qa@lists.freedesktop.org Change settings: http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-qa Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice-qa/
Re: [Libreoffice-qa] QA Call Time
Hi everyone, I'm resurrecting this thread to let you know that we're going to revisit the QA Call Time and the 'Pub Chat' Time in about a month, after the LibreOffice Conference. Between the primary QA Meetings and the 'Pub Chats,' we hope that everyone who's involved with QA is able to find a time that works for them. Speaking of which...we have another US Pub Chat coming up on September 6th: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Meetings/2013/September_06_US_Pub_Chat If you're in the US, or nearby, or just can't make the regular QA Meeting, please stop on by and say hi. [Libreoffice-qa] update-check of 3.6.x and 4.0.x to 4.0.5 activated
Hi *, I activated the update notification for version 4.0.5 Users running LO 3.6.x will also be prompted to update to 4.0.5 - this might cause some trouble for users of ancient versions of Windows - unfortunately there's no way to exclude those, as the version of windows is not part of the info that is available to the update-check. If people complain that they cannot update because their windows is too old, the advice is to just disable the update check completely. 3.6.7 is the last version they can run on that system. If you experience any problems with the update-check, be sure to drop by in the libreoffice-dev or tdf-infra channel to have it sorted out. In the same go, I added the update mapping of 4.1.0 alpha/beta/rc users to 4.1.0 final version. If there are still people out there using the alpha beta or one of the early RCs, They'll soon have another proposed update to 4.1.1 once that is released. That might cause some grief as well (Urgh, you made me download that huge installer twice in a month - but OTOH they did download prerelease-version, so probably don't mind that much) ciao Christian ___ List Name: Libreoffice-qa mailing list Mail address: Libreoffice-qa@lists.freedesktop.org Change settings: http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-qa Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice-qa/
