  97 conversion seems to slip something in.
  (injects weirdness, ie xml ebooks gets blank pages.)

 I think it's int 10; handing line feed is wonky in other format
conversions.

I tested under Windows XP Pro x86 SP3 and it worked as expected.

With a maximized window all menus open upwards (because there is no room to
open down)

However because the Paragraph Styles category menu has many more items (13),
depending on the distance to the edge, the menus may open upwards (if there
is no room down) and the other Styles category menu (Character, Frame, etc)
which only have 5 items may have enough space to open downward thus giving
the impression that the menus are working inconsistently.

I think this is NOTABUG (or it is an x64 Vista and/or XP specific bug...)
