Ah - I think it's a fair question personally; there is not much love
for the Windows 2000 build IIRC. Having said that it sounds odd to me
that it's so small / busted there - I wonder how we managed that :-)

Is there a bug filed ? and is it a MAB for 3.6 ? ie. I don't see it
here:

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/showdependencytree.cgi?id=6hide_resolved=1

Thanks :-)

Michael.

Yeah, it is a 3 x 10 pixel object on Windows 2000. At least it can be
 closed with Alt+F4. Bad luck.

You can also dismiss it by pressing Esc, but that is not the point.

Does Bad luck mean Tough luck for Windows 2000 users because we are not
even going to try to fix that?

Then you probably have to change the Requirements to Windows XP and above
starting from version 3.6.0

I did not test it much further under Windows 2000 but possibly other
functions could be broken...

[Libreoffice-qa] [ANN] LibreOffice 3.6.0 ALPHA1 test builds available

2012-06-01 Thread Fridrich Strba
Hi *,

for the upcoming new version 3.6.0, the first public ALPHA1 builds now
start to be available on pre-releases. This build is intended for alpha
and beta testers and will not be available on the mirrors or linked from
our web-site. As for the steps towards the 3.6.0 release, please refer
to our release plan timings here:

 http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan#3.6_release

Builds are now being uploaded to a public (but non-mirrored - so don't
spread news too widely!) place, as soon as they're available. Grab
them here:

 http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/pre-releases/

If you've a bit of time, please give them a try report bugs not yet in
bugzilla. The first beta release is planned for after the feature freeze
that will happen on 4th of June 2012.

Thanks a lot for your help,

Fridrich
