It should likely be added to the Options tab.

[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 101923] New: Option to set or unset list styles in the bullet & numbering dialog

2016-09-05 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101923

Bug ID: 101923
Summary: Option to set or unset list styles in the bullet &
numbering dialog
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.3.0.0.alpha0+ Master
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-b...@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: philip...@hotmail.com
CC: libreoffice-ux-advise@lists.freedesktop.org

It would be useful to have a dialog option to set or unset the list style of
list entries, as presently this feature is limited to the sidebar.

No I won't, sorry. Please don't touch this bugs status again. I've both
explained and suggested places where to get more support if needed. I think -
only being active here for many years - that that is more than enough.

I did not receive a notification for some reason.

But before we change this back to Resolved can you please attach a copy of the
test document in which the problem is solved?
And also if you say it can be turned off please give full instructions on how
to do so.

[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 101820] DIALOG: Revise Page Style's Page tab

Try setting different margin left and right, and look at the result when you
choose Mirrored. Or give some hard breaks and look as result with Right Only
(print preview/page count).
It's not just the paper output but clearly on the screen. Hence my
'reservation'.

> > And paper try mostly related to paper format, IMO.

> Paper tray is a property of the printer you are printing from.

It's a property of the page settings, allowing to force printing from a certain
tray. That could be size or orientation, but also same settings as all other
pates, but with different paper (letter head for example).
So also hear, it's hard to catch the setting in a certain term.

NB: I didn't refer the check box Synchronize anymore. Though I don't think it's
useful for most modules, I'm fine with it being there.

Glad you like it.

They use the same 12px spacing used in 'Paper' and 'Margins'.

> Right and left page layout of course is also on the screen.

The options in Page layout are only useful when you print, as can be seen in
'only left' and 'only right', as it doesnt change anything that you see on the
screen.

> And paper try mostly related to paper format, IMO.

Paper tray is a property of the printer you are printing from.

The focus here is of better categorization of the headings and its controls, as
issue of columns, indentation, etc. can be handled later.

[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 69550] [UX] [a11y] Style keyboard shortcuts are undiscoverable

2016-09-05 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69550

This is nowhere near resolved. As in comment 5 still need to instrument the
/Styles and Formatting Sidebar deck for keyboard shortcuts.

There remains no direct accelerator/shortcut movement to the respective type of
style on the content panel list: i.e. Paragraph, Character, Frame, Page, List,
Table in Writer.

Such that entering +<"shortcut">--maybe Alt+P, Alt+C, Alt+F, Alt+P, Alt+L,
Alt+T--directly opens the content panel list sounding the active/selected
style.

That at a minimum would move us beyond the present cyclical use of , Tab
and arrow cursor movements to navigate by keyboard only.

I vote for closing this ticket as FIXED as the basic shortcuts are easily
accessible now.
