Summary: SIDEBAR: Combine multiple dissolve slide transitions
into a group
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.3.0.0.alpha0+ Master
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-b...@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: philip...@hotmail.com
CC: libreoffice-ux-advise@lists.freedesktop.org
Blocks: 65138

We have two dissolve non-group slide transition entries called 'Dissolve' and

Hi Wiebe, Bruce,

for what it's worth: some weeks ago I've done the suggestion at the design
team:
"idea for nice UX-job: handling of wrapping of images/object in Writer: easy
or/preferred use; competitive analysis; compatibility.."

That may lead to the information needed to make choices.
For the time being, I would set to NeedInfo.
With due respect to you guys, I seriously cannot expect that in the current
state a developer would have a clear idea of what to do.

wrt anchoring and wrapping: would it be an idea to conclude that after more
investigation wrt interoperability?
It's not per see sure that 'just' having the same default value as another
application, makes interoperability better.
Then we can keep this issue for that and use another for spacing..

No, there always is a paragraph below a table.

When the table is at the top of the page, yes, but not in another situation.

I seem confused with the description as i just tested this.

1) Open writer
2) Insert a table
3) Use down key to exit the table
4) Press delete to delete the paragraph after the table
5) Press down and the paragraph is still there

So is there ever a situation when you cant go below the table?

With regards to adding a paragraph above a table, all you have to do is to go
the beginning of cell A1 of the table and press enter and it will add a
paragraph above the table.

I've used TOCs and never saw the point of having to manually refresh it, i
would compare it to creating a chart and then manually telling it to refresh it
after i changed some of the values associated to it.

So i'd suggest that the TOC be automatically refreshed without user prompt when
a document is saved and before the launch of the print dialog.

--- Comment #3 from Yousuf Philips (jay) ---
So once you reach the sidebar with F6, you can press the arrow keys to jump
between the deck title bar, content panel titles, and the tab bar buttons. Once
you are selected on a content panel title, you can press tab to jump into the
content panel, but without the content panel title, there isnt a means to reach
the contents.

The most ideal thing is that once focus is reached with the deck title bar, the
tab button should jump through the entire deck's content in a similar way to
jumping through the contents of a tab in a dialog.

This is concerning only screenreaders and will probably never show in the UI as
name. Users will not know what what Toolstack or Buttonstack is. Since
Application Sidebar is the most descriptive and understandable term I +1 that.

also confirming bug → new.

Hmm, see the issue in having another GUI component named "Sidebar".

Since we probably need something "descriptive" it is a stack of tool
buttons--as opposed to a bar of buttons, i.e. "toolbar"-- so:

Toolstack

or

Buttonstack

In descriptions what reads better, the StartCenter's Toolstack, the
StartCenter's Buttonstack, or the StartCenter's Application Sidebar?

=-=-=

Guess we have a similar question going on about naming the "NotebookBar" (aka
"MuffinBar").
