[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 62032] Cannot specify a Paragraph Style to use a numbering level (over 1) for a chosen Numbering (List) style (See comment 8)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62032 --- Comment #48 from Heiko Tietze --- You can have Outline Level = 2 (typically for a H2 chapter) and List Level = 3 (for some reason different to the outline level). Correct? If so, isn't the to-be-introduced List Level best suited as dropdown below the list style selection? (In reply to Justin L from comment #47) > I would suggest that the UI design encourages these having matching values, > and that changing one automatically changes the other (via a synchronized > checkbox for example). We could use an entry "Same as Outline Level" in the dropdown. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 62032] Cannot specify a Paragraph Style to use a numbering level (over 1) for a chosen Numbering (List) style (See comment 8)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62032 --- Comment #47 from Justin L --- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #43) > Isn't this the "outline level"? No. OutlineLevel is completely separate and unrelated to listLevel, even though they are typically set to the same value. I would suggest that the UI design encourages these having matching values, and that changing one automatically changes the other (via a synchronized checkbox for example). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 117276] Autofilter settings being reset in some cases
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117276 --- Comment #17 from Mike Kaganski --- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #16) > There are two options: > > a) Show only those entries that are currently listed plus what has been > filtered-out in the actual column; without Opel you neither have 7000 in the > sheet not the filter; with 7000 unchecked you have Opel except from 2007. > Checking something that matches other filters reverts them. > > b) The autofilter always lists all entries; checking Opel does not bring it > back to the sheet until 7000 and 9000 are checked as well > > We do a) likewise Excel. Changing it might be unexpected. The question is not specifically "what to show", but rather - in case #1 - if the shown list must be considered as "complete" list. The problem is: (In reply to Samuel Mehrbrodt (allotropia) from comment #15) > So technically this is correct: The highlight on column B is reset after > step 5, because all items in column B (which are not hidden by other > filters) are visible. Selecting all items *shown* in the list in a given autofilter resets the autofilter - even if some unselected items are hidden from it. Which is wrong. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62032 --- Comment #44 from Mike Kaganski --- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #43) > Isn't this the "outline level"? No. Outline level defines a *document structure* - simply said, "chapter heading". List levels are orthogonal to being heading. [Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 146215] Quickly insert check boxes
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=146215 --- Comment #4 from Heiko Tietze --- (In reply to andreas_k from comment #2) > How it look at google docs and in MS Word / LibreOffice Looks like an ordinary unnumbered list using the check mark symbol as bullet. Easy to do out of the box. But actually you can click the checkbox which makes the text strike-through. Super upgly but I see no way to check a bullet symbol. Remember that we are bound to the file format and it would need to allow form fields as bullets. What we can do is to have the check mark and use level 1 for unchecked and 2 for checked. It's not intuitive and depends on the font. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
