Any 12 volt battery source would do.  Of course, the bigger capacity, the
longer the Libretto lasts.  I like to use 12 volt lead acid batteries
similar to those you see in emergency lanterns or inside a computer UPS.
They are reasonably cheap, standard, can withstand abuse and last a long time.

My only worry in making it removable from the battery source (against
soldering it) is the possibility of switching the terminals.  This would
surely fry the Libretto's charging circuit, if not the whole computer.
