If you hit "reply to all" you reply to the list AND the sender, who gets it twice. This is wierd behavior in a mailing LIST... 3You need to keep, somewhere, detailed instructions on how to subscribe/unsubscribe, and all are different depending on who set THIS list up. With Yahoo, there's one page to manage all your lists. You can toggle INDIVIDUAL/DIGEST/NONE-WEB ONLY options on the fly. Yahoo also offers large files and photos storage. I am a list owner on Yahoo and am relatively pleased, especially since a user who is recalcitrant about giving personal info can LIE in registration. > >2What's wrong with Yahoogroups? > > Ads. So? I was of the impression the Librettos used LiIon cells which are a different matter altogether certainly I fail to see how you could get any decent capacity worth of NiMH cells into the space of a Libretto pack (at least not the 1.5-odd AH or so of the original pack). Of course, you could always do what I'm thinking of and making a battery slice, that way you can make say a 4AH NiMH pack and run your libby for 5 or 6 hours on a charge ;-) - Raymond ** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://libretto.basiclink.com/archive - Archives http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/portable/faq.html - FAQ ---TO UNSUBSCRIBE--- Reply to any of the list messages. The charging light stays on for a couple of minutes then goes out but the battery meter says not charged. The system will only run on the mains 8-( So I think I'm in the market for a "refurbished" battery pack if thats the consensus. Anyone in the UK splitting the packs and replacing the cells? What is the size of the individual cells? New industrial NiMH cells made by GPB are available from CPC with tags welded already, from about £1.20 each. Sizes from AAA 44mm x 10mm to D 61mm x 34mm. I guess the Libby ones are AA or smaller (50mm x 14mm). Anyone with further info about cell sizes please post here, or email me privately - thanks.
