On solution can be to shell out 29 dollars for the mail-capable

Threading works beautiful with this list because sorting into threads

Wouldn't that get you a really flat tree (ie. a list)? How is that
better than simply sorting by subject (which comes free with almost
every MUA I know)? Or does Agent contain some voodoo code that
reconstructs conversation threads from almost no useful info?

In every other list I subscribe to, mutt displays a real tree, with
branches tracking conversation threads. Here, I just get a flat list.

Yes, you are right. I must have been a little blind. The only sorting
Agent does for me with this list is based on the subject line. Inside
the thread the sorting is based on the date, not the reference line as
it normally would. What I have is threads which are flat inside. What
fooled me and what is nice with Agent is that the theads are imploded
until I choose to open them, one or more/all. There is just a number
beside the first message to show how many follow-ups it has.

Raymond, you'd be surprised.

I've said it before: it's worth holding on to a Libretto (even if it's in
the attic) just to be on this list. Of course, even if you didn't have a
Libretto, I guess you could fake it... :)

In fact, not that anyone cares particularly, but I just picked up another
L50. And I was disappointed to see the ex-owner opt out of the list right
after he sold it to me. Quite a conflict for me. New Libretto (good); one
less member (bad).

Speaking of which how many people are subscribed to this list anyway?

Good grief! How many librettos do you people own and what the heck do you do

Where do you people buy Librettos/Libretto parts from? The only place I've
