From what I can remember, there was a time when the L100 came with a 2Gig, but
they were advertising it with a 1.4Gig (I THINK because they wanted to
differentiate it from the L110 with the 2Gig), so they limited it in BIOS.
Search the Archives, the info should be there. You basically need to either
load an older or newer version of the BIOS to see the entire drive. I'm not
sure if the extra space will magically appear, or whether you will need to
back up the HD, then install the new/old BIOS, then reformat and restore your
files.
My L100 has a 20Gig in it now, no problems, but I don't have it here with me to
see what version of BIOS it is running, sorry.

I have a Libretto L100 with a hard disk of (according to the manual) listed
capacity 2GB yet in My Computer the capacity is listed at 1.34GB;
furthermore in totalling the sizes of all folders, including hidden folders,
I can only find .89GB used. I have the hibernation mode enable but this, I
believe, only uses about 30 MB; has anyone any ideas as to how I can access
all this hidden disk space?

PS I ran Partition Magic on the L100 and it found a capacity of only 1.34 GB
on my hard drive.
