I have a toshiba libretto 70ct in perfect condition. It has 16mb ram, 640x480 active matrix screen, 1.6gb hard drive, 120mhz un-overclocked cpu (overclockable). There are no bad sectors on the HD, no severe case damage, but a little wear and tear and a scuff or two on the plastic is to be expected. On a scale of 1-10, I'd say it's a 9.5. Specs at: http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ It comes with a lot of accessories, both the mini port replicator to snap onto the back of it to give it printer, serial, and video out, the enhanced port replicator with all of the above, plus keyboard, mouse, power, and a Type III pcmcia slot, on top of the Type II inside of the libretto itself. You can have /both/ a type III and a Type II at teh same time, which is better than what most laptops have which is two Type II or one type III at a time. It has a leather Targus zippered carrying case, ac adapter, cappying case for ac adapter from Toshiba. It'll come with your choice of one of teh two, either a PCMCIA 56k modem, or a 3com 10base-t / coax ethernet card. I have to keep one of those two for connectivity with my new laptop, but you can choose one of those two for this package. Here's the kicker. Most libretto offers you'll have have dead batteries. The battery packs won't hold a charge for more than a few minutes. Go ahead, ask how much life the batteries have in your other offers. My libretto comes with a dead battery pack, which is rebuildable, but I never got around to it, PLUS, a /brand new/ 1200mAh battery pack. I only charged it and used it three times, so it has a bunch of milage left on it! You cannot get a better deal than this. I'm asking $325 for the whole backage, because of the accessories and the battery. Shipping extra. Yes, 70ct's go on ebay cheaper than $300, but thay have little or no accessories. The first person to offer and send me $325, get's a free 24x pcmcia cd-rom drive for the libretto. It's a tad flakey and you have to eject it a couple of times and re-insert the tray before it'll recegonize the disc. But after that it'll work just fine. (I've been using it for a couple of years, I would keep it, but the new laptop has a built in cd-rom drive, so I don't need this one) Will come with Win 98 pre-installed. I'm selling it because I have a newer laptop and will probably never use this again. I only need one laptop. I'm located in the Seattle WA area, give me a call if you want. 253-770-7161 Better call me now, I'm leaving Wed morning for a one week vacation at a convention in Vegas. If you're heading to that same convention, Defcon X, you can pay me cash for it if you want. If you pay cash, I'll let it go for $300. | _____ _____ _____ __ __ __ __ _____ _______________ | THE /_ _// ___// ___// // // |/ // _ //______________/ | / / / _/_ / /__ / _ // // // /_______________ | /_/ /____//____//_//_//_/\_//____//______________/ | _______________ ___ ___ ___ _____ _____ __ __ | /______________// _ \ / _ \ / \ / ___// _ // |/ / | _______________ / // // //_// /\ // /_ // // // / |/______________//____//_/\_\/_//_//____//____//_/\_/ ************************************************************** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ - Archives -------TO UNSUBSCRIBE------- Reply to any of the list messages.
