The mirror is the solution. Cut an old CD in two halves, and you have two mirrors,
very light, and hard to break. And it fits very nice with the Libretto

So you work in front of a mirror...This way you can simultaneously admire

Re: Infrared and Mouse?

2001-02-27 Thread Ken Hansen

Subject: Re: Infrared and Mouse?

Why is this interesting - yo would have to find an IR mouse with the IR port
on the left side of the mouse (not the top), or use a mouse with the laptop
facing to the left of you.

I suspect that is simply where the space was available, and may have
something to do with making the IR ports available when the laptop is in a
port expander. If the IR port were in the back, that would be hard.

I think putting the IR port on the right is simply a convention that goes
back to machines as early as the HP 200 LX palmtop, and also a concession to
the fact that the IR portsa re typically used for computer-accessory
connections, not laptop to laptop networking.

On the L100 & L110, the IR port is on the right side. This is kind of
interesting...

I think this might be hard to do because the IR port is in the rear of the
computer. It only works line of sight.

I am sure this has been asked before, thanks for your patience.
