 Hello:
I'm new to the Libretto laptop and I would like to get one. I saw one on
 a
electronics shop when I was on a travel and I didn't buy it. Know I'm
 trying
to buy one online, but it looks like any online store is saleing a
 Libretto
any more. Does any one knows of a online store that sales Libretto.

For the older libretti (50/70/100) Ebay may be your best option.

Chris.

You can definitely get a wide variety of them in Japan...Sofmap stores in
the electronics district of Tokyo and Osaka sell them. Their email is
www.sofmap.co.jp/

They will (sometimes) answer email in English, but they will not ship out of
Japan, so you need a Japanese friend to receive the package and forward it.
These are, of course, Japanese keyboard and operating system models. I was
there lest month, and they had a wide variety.

There is a current model, if forget the number, it is very different from
the boxy older models, very curvy and nice, and something like USD 1600, as
I recall, but they are being phased out.

A roughly similar machine is made by Casio, again, only for the Japanese
Market.

Mike Hodish

PS Japanese websurfing is fun. Attach .co.jp/ to the end of a companies
name, and you probaby have their site. Seldom any english, but follow the
pictures, and you will see some interesting stuff!
