Guilty, guilty, it is all my fault, but on the bright side, I was offered a new job at JPL. and anybody not yet running AMNHLT, CPUIDLE, Rain, Waterfall on their Librettos, give them a whirl! That way the lid is still open about one half inch (2.54 centimeters). That improves the ventilation and decreases the likelihood of a thermal shutdown. I also put the modem in the dock PCMCIA slot which removes the heat from the Lib. Those are my dock operation suggestions. Thermal shutdown shouldn't be a problem today, coldwave, only 103 degrees F (39.5C) today. Ahhh, cl !
