David, I was looking at a test site
(http://www.benchtest.com/rain.html), and it mentions that installing
this with the WIN2K OS is not necessary. Do you agree?

Thanks, Dick

inconseqeuntial for my use. But I'm wondering if any features have
 been
added since my amnHLTv1.0 that would make switching to the new version

 worthwhile.

Not unless you really want the extra features. Any version of
AMNHLT/AMNRefr. will do the exact same thing power-wise -- put the CPU
into lower power consumption mode while it is not doing anything, thus
extending battery life by up to about 30 minutes on the Libretto.

2000/xp/linux all have it built-in, so it's not needed. Only on the older OSs.

This baby works fine. Highly recommended and works great, taking up the
smallest amount of RAM vs. CPUIDLE, RAIN, Waterfall, etc.

the difference is between this, and the older 'AmnHLT' The Barnacle was
always touting through the years, and that I've been loading by default
every time I set up a Windows OS.

Also wonder what Amn Task Manager may offer compared to TaskInfo2002 4.0
I've been using for some time.
