Greg,

I have bad news for you: the two machines I thought completely dead are
showing signs of reanimation...'tonight, Igor, we build a *new* monster!'
'No Master, not one with...a sense of humour?'...

Anybody got garlic and a stake?

Neil

Help!
My 50CT has a cracked screen (unrepairable) and I am looking for a
replacement. Reading the number posts on the 60ct and the 50ct that are
"dead", I am wondering if anyone would sell their screen, or entire unit
for
"parts" to me.
I love my Libretto. Works fine, just needs a new screen.
Thanks

Garlic and a steak? Sure! How about some sauteed
onions and mushrooms to go with it?

I wonder if I could get you to send me the dead screen.
I'd like to get inside one or more, and find out some things, like maybe
how to brighten up the backlight, and whatever else I can discover. I just
don't want to do it by sacrificing my only L

Dave,

If you can figure out how to brighten up the backlight and share your
findings with the group, you will gain many more friends.

Apparently, the fluorescent lamp dims with age. It took me about a year to
learn how to program the fuzzy light bulb and stop the decay on my Lib60
that had been running almost non-stop.

Good luck.

Michael

Dave,

If you can figure out how to brighten up the backlight and share your
findings with the group, you will gain many more friends.

That's one of the things I hope to accomplish.
Send those dead panels here, and please label them as to which model they
are from!
