Thanks for looking at those and making the various changes you described.

Excellent, hopefully the next time someone has issues in libusb in a
daemon it'll be of some help.

Were you planning on just testing they build or running on a device?

If you are planning on testing on a device then you'll need to have root
access to it or fiddle around with building custom ROMs to setup
permissions on /dev/bus/usb/*/*.

Also be aware that the Android dynamic loader is more basic than the
normal Linux one so it's best to place libusb-1.0.so in /system/lib.

It's a little hard to say. As I remember, none of the comments have
been of the "flaming-curses" variety favored by certain people.

I doubt most of them will ever have any effect. But who knows?

Well, it'll most likely be tomorrow's tomorrow now...

I like testing runtimes, or at the very least compiling them - it avoids
bad surprises. But seeing that I have neither an Android device, nor an
Android toolchain installed, I thought I'd ask around to see if any of
the other maintainers were interested... ;)

I don't think I'd purchase an Android device unless I am certain to gain
root access to it...
