Which SuSE version are you using?

Hi all!
Have a 1.3.1/SSL install (from SuSE apt) that keeps segfaulting.
I usually keep it logged on and set the status to Not Available

If i leave it up, it segfaults after a period of time (differs from
time to time)
As far as i can see it is when i get a pending message from a offline
user. Then it dies with segfault, and if i start it i get;

Still no ideas on what this can be?
The problem is persistent and very easily reproduced.

I have not been able to reproduce this locally. You said it happens
when you get an offline message from a user? Is it a new user or one
on your list? Also, can you try running the latest daily snapshot and
using ./configure --enable-debug to provide as much details as
possible?

Went back to 1.3.0 rpm for SuSE 9.2 as per the homepage.
 It works as expected.

I dont have all the libraries and things to do a compile on my system, but
ill try to check into that asap.

I cant get it to compile the configurescript

licq-20050419 make -f Makefile.cvs
This Makefile is only for the CVS repository
This will be deleted before making the distribution

*** Concatenating configure tests into acinclude.m4
*** Retrieving configure tests needed by configure.in

at /usr/share/autoconf/Autom4te/C4che.pm line 69, GEN1 line 112.
aclocal: autom4te failed with exit status: 1
make[1]: *** [cvs] Error 1

So right now i have decided its way to complicated to get a newer version than
the one on released for SuSE via the homepage.

I'll stick with 1.3.0/ssl from the Mar 18 2005

  Any ideas?

Providing a backtrace would help! This implies building w/ debug options
(for instance: ./configure --enable-debug make make install; don't
make install-strip!), and running licq from gdb. If possible use code from
CVS. When licq segfaults, you are still under gdb, then type bt or bt full
and send the full output to this mailing-list.

Let us know if you need more help around building licq or running licq from
 gdb!
